Grinding Sound - Please Help!!!!

Hello - I have a 1986 Devon that's just started to make a grinding noise almost bearing wear kind of sound.

What do you think it might be, i think it's coming from the left side of the block

Any ideas?

water pump ? left side of engine at rear, usually leak when they fail too
