Alright disleyp and welcome to the forum.
Basically kevtherev is saying if you have a technical question you will have a much higher proportion of replies by giving details appropriate to your pride and joy. In your case a Westy Joker. And to validate my point, you can see by revealing those few details, responses have increased by a mighty 200%. Me & Kev
If you decide to do the work yourself, then get along to a VW T25 meet, (join up to get access to all meets taking place) stow your shyness and ask to have a nose & measure up in another van with similar roof shape. Mostly you will get immediate advice to help you once you mention you own an identical vehicle.
If you cannot see yourself using a jigsaw, an electric plane or drilling holes around the hightop, then get in touch with these guys. Their name has been mentioned quite regularly on this forum. And all good stuff apparently.

You haven't bothered to fill your profile either so we don't know where you are .... if you are in the SW then there's a load of us down there this coming week you could talk to.
If however you're in Disley then there's quite a few members in the Manchester area, one of whome may like to help you.
Welcome to the Club BTW
Ian.
