Rear Seatbelts

Post by Yogispeed »

Hey Up
Cant get that wiki thing to work so here goes.
I'm on the verge of buying my first T3 it has a full width r&r bed but no seatbelts, can you fit 3 point belts.
If so is it difficult.

Hi, I am about to fit them in mine this weekend. I have asked other questions in the last week on the same subject and have had some very useful replies, have a look at my postings. The wiki is really good as are the ones on Brickwerks' site. I took the plunge and bought the belts this week as the other replies to my posts convinced me that as long as you are fairly practical and have a bit of patience you'll be ok. My moonraker already has the holes predrilled both under the rock and roll bed and at the back of the van near the back on the rear pillars near the back door. If you've got those it looks straight forward, and even if you haven't I guess with a bit of thinking and help off this site and its very helpful members you will be ok. Having said all that, this weekend will tell!! Google rear belts etc and some other bits and pieces also pop up that will help you get the idea of how it works. Definately check out the guide on Brickwerks.

1986 moonraker, totally original, brown and puke colour, but we still love her!
