metal fuel injector pipes

Post by nickola40 »

Hi all,

I've got a 1.6 turbo diesel vanagon westfalia 1989 model camper and was wondering where i could purchase a metal fuel injector pipe.
The one on ours is leaking fuel through a tiny hole the size of a pinhead practically, and dribbling down onto the nut, it looked like someone before we had it done a bad patchwork job over it and now we've uncovered the problem it could easily be replaced, but where?? I've looked on the internet no luck. Help please!! Much appreciated.

I had exactly the same problem a couple of weeks ago. I paid £33 for a genuine pipe from TPS (trade part specialists)
who sell most VAG parts. I didn't try VW themselves as this place is nearer for me to get to.

yeeesh, i bought one for melvins turbo diesel a few months back & i'm sure it was less than that from vw,
they had to take the money upfront & order it in for the next day but i think it was not much more than £33 (£45 comes to mind) for a whole set? :?
