oil pressure switch quandry

oil pressure switch-wasleaking oil got new one from jk think i may have ordered wrong .its a1.2-1.4bar but i think i only have one sender and acording to the wiki and t25 manuel it is the low pressure switch ineed 0.15-0.3bar i was going by the colour of old 1 (black) seems it should be blue can any one help thoughts please 1983 1900 cc watercooled hightop

Yep,
VAGCAT shows a blue 0.25 bar switch as the only one fitted to the 1983 watercooled.

JK shows J11045 Oil Pressure Switch Blue 0.15 0.35 bar.

The important thing is that the low pressure switch has its contacts closed when there is no pressure applied.

The 'High Pressure' switch has its contacts open, with no pressure applied.
