My N/S washer jet tube has come detached and is spraying my electrics with water...... nice. obviously I'm not using it now.
Question is: I've had my head under the dash and can't see the nozzle. Doing a rough guess calculation from outside, it looks like it could be behind the windscreen heater outlet. Do I have to remove this to re-attach the tube? If so how? Or am I looking in completely the wrong place. Any help would be great.

Re: Washer jet?

Theres a t-piece (or was in mine) connecting n/s to o/s washer tube quite high up more or less in line with the nozzle on the outside. It was a little bit behind the wiper motor unit. I managed to disconnect this and attach the new pipe after warming it in a cup of boiling water to soften it. I then trimmed it up on the outside and added a new washer jet (mine broke getting it out). I also soaked the jet in boiling water to make it more pliable.
It was quite fiddly to do, but i took my time and it worked ok. Most of it is done by feel.
Good luck

Why didn't I think of that! Many Thanks....
