running Temp ?!?!?! and boot locks

Post by stuthecat25 »

Hi i have finally got my belovid van (vernon) 1.9 DG T25 on the road and running after a 3 year wait, its just a quick question about the general running temp as after a while it gets up to about half way and then goes back down when the thermo kicks in, it has not got to the point where the warning light comes on. Is this normal or should it stay in the little area on the dial ???

oh and does anyone know where i can get a boot lock barrel from cheers !!!

sorry for the daft questions but non of my friends have a t25 so i cant ask em.......many thanks to who ever helps

Hi the running temp on my 1.9 is just bellow half way and the fan only cuts in on long steep hills or very slow traffic! out on open road the flow of air should keep it at normal temp without fan having to cut in but normal for fan to come on in slow stop start driving. hope this helps
