Hand Brake Adjuster

Post by dahartwell »

Hi
Total beginner at my own repairs, just looking at the brakes on my van and i have noticed that the hand brake adjuster under the van is not attached to the bodywork. Is this right as it is swinging about like nobodies business ?
any help would be great

If I'm understanding what you are saying correctly, yes the handbrake adjusting mechanism does kinda dangle about. Obviously if adjusted correctly it tends to do this less. Just trying to picture it in my mind...as some mechanisms have a return sring on the end of the rod....hmmm not sure if T25's do.
