I have recently removed some old brittle and broken gutter trim to find a bit of surface rust on the top edge of the gutter.
I was planning to get some mini gutter trim to replace (which I am told fits and is cheaper) but wanted to treat the rust with some sort of rust treatment product that is not coloured, before sticking the new trim on. I appreciate that some products will turn the rust black and this is not really a problem as the affected area should easily be covered by the trim.
My question is - does anyone know of a suitable product for this job? I was thinking of kurust but wondered if anyone knew of something better.
Thanks
Adrian
Is there such a product?

Re: Is there such a product?
PS: You may also want some:
1) Tiger Seal to reseal the gutters with waterproof, black, rubber, gook - http://www.bodyshopwarehouse.co.uk/category/tiger-seal" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
2) Rust Bullet is an alternative for treating rust - http://www.rustbulletuk.com/category.php?id=346&page=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
3) Though my coating of choice is Dinitrol, which I am told is superior to Waxoyl - http://www.dinitrol.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
4) Other products you could also use for various van rust and sealants etc - http://www.evercoat.com/products.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
5) And not forgetting Frosts - http://www.frost.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Top Tip 1: Don't spend longer faffing with your van or fixing it than you do using it. (still working on this one myself)
Top Tip 2: Keep it original and maintain it well. Regular oil,filters,fluids,belts and services.
Top Tip 3: Deal with the rust when you find it.
