Excellent very peaceful campsite. No hook ups new toilets, but campfires allowed on beach. Shop in Village sells wood/peat.

Calgary Bay. Beautiful bay. 'Organised' wild camp area. Too busy. People just couldn't follow the simple rules for camping FREE there. Chopping down trees for fire wood, lighting fires on the machair (fire pits are provided) pouring chemicals down toilets which kills the bacteria the septic tank requires to work properly. Dogs running loose doing what dogs doo.

Just a small selection to give people a flavour. Nice island, glad i visited but much prefer the outer islands. I would go back to Fidden Farm very chilled.
Never sure where I'm going till i get there.

Hi Andrew,

They charge as vehicle upto 5m. I think total was £72 something for vehicle 2 adults and a child (14) return. That was on a 5 day saver.
Never sure where I'm going till i get there.

Visit Calgary bay as it is very nice. The beach is big and the water shallow so good for kids. But if campsite busy there are a couple of pull ins on the way there from Tobermory.
Never sure where I'm going till i get there.
