The coil is goosed,
Do I need a box standard 12v coil or is a special part?
So can I use a Lucas or what ever I can get my hands on
Can I use any 12v coil on my 1.9 DG

Get it fixed, put neons on it, get a huge amp then go camping........enjoy the quite life

They are different for a reason.
Use a standard coil if you want more problems.
Use the correct coil if you don't.
