Clutch Slave

Post by jgibson808 »

I am hopefully coming to the end of my engine rebuild. It's only taken me 15 months to raise the cash and get my butt in to gear, but things are never easy, especially when your trying to get a van that has sat for that long ready for an MOT!

Today:
anti roll bar link replaced - done!
Engine earth strap replaced - done!
Clutch slave cylinder - replaced, but then when trying to mount it on the gearbox, I only went and snapped to copper pipe!

So my question today - can you buy replacement copper pipes off the shelf, or do I need to buy a kit? If so where from?

Thanks

Jim

go into a VW garage and look at the etka drawings with them, at least you will come away with the part nunmber, and you can always ask you maybe pleasantly surprised. plus if more people buy these parts from VW they will continue making them.
