Please can you help me?
I have a 1990 Vw T25 1.9 water cooled petrol that has suddenly developed an oil leak which i have located to what looks appears to be the oil pressure switch between the cooling pump pulley and the crankshaft pulley. please can anyone advise on how to replace this leaking switch and what colour it should be? it looks very diffcult to access

Hi,
Not difficult. Undo/bend back the exhaust plate /cover to give you enough room to get a socket on.
When you take it out the reducer that it screws into may also come out.
Replace with the same colour. Mine is grey on my 1.9 DG. The white ones are now black.
Just done mine. Any probs. come back to me.

changed the same switch on one of my vans. right a*** it turned out to be. had to remove silencer to gain enough access to undo. not to sure what colour I fitted, but good luck.
