No fuel coming through

Post by Rockhead_Rumple »

Hi,

recently had engine out for complete strip, and put it back in van today. However cannot get any fuel through to carb. Not sure if fuel pump is working, I did a quick test by disconnecting from tank and placing straight into jerry can. Seemed to suck a little when turned over, but still not reaching carbs. I tested fuel pump pushrod when engine was out and it seemed to work ok. Tomorrow i will take off fuel pump and examine/test it but im in doubts whether that is whats wrong. I have replaced sections of the fuel line with new hose, securing with tight jubilee clips. I didnt bother replacing the rigid plastic tubing hose as it didnt seem to need it. Wish I had now =(

Any ideas why it wouldnt be getting fuel through?
