I need some technical help and i'm hoping some of you lovely people can help.
My T25 air cooled 2.0 lump has recently been replaced with a 2.4 version. The trouble is it is running the original twin carb set up which seem to be strangling the engines performance.
I know there are a lot of alternatives out there and whilst an upgrade to the carbs would probably result in poorer fuel consumption it is still a consideration, after all I dont want to be running it up the pod. I just want to be able to use the power that is eviently there.
Thanks guys

Re: alternative carbs air cooled
only way is dual 40mm drla delortos.
your bus will have much more power , torque and economy will be better.
i fitted dells on my Aircooled wedge and it fair well flew.
you will need new inlets, filters and linkage and bank on an hour on a rolling road to get it set just right
i use http://www.raceshack.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
do a search as i have helped a few with this mod on here and brick-yard.
its the single best thing i ever did to that wedge!!!
