has anyone made there oil/water inspection hatch lockable? if so got any pics?

vw factory option, parts are still available about £40 iirc
got it on mine, tbh it's a pain having to put the key in to do a quick level check, I guess it depends on wether you have to worry about peeps pratting about with your van

yea have been forced to leave it in some unsavory arias on me travels (equivalent to longleat drive through zoo hehe) and if it moved or opened it was on the menu. so yea thinking of making something or better buying one to prevent the mr bean/mini hasp and staple approach.

ta much will try. had thought about this but will have to cut semi circle in numberplate, i guess i was hopeing someone would say they were a common extra on x t25 but never mind. thanks all fore replying to bit of a lame question.

I've often thought it would be a good idea to stick a solenoid lock on it and couple it to the central locking. I might get round to it next decade
