Headlamp condensation.

Post by CovKid »

One of my headlamps always accrues moisture. Even if I bring it in and dry thoroughly, within a week it will be have condensation on the inside of the glass. The rubber seal is a snug fit too. Any ideas?.

Try putting silicone around the edge of the lens.

I've tried all sorts of fixes for mine - both do it - without success. I've tried drying in an oven before resealing to no avail. One day day I will find how to get the perfect seal. :) Next time I try I will use a Sikaflex type sealant.
