Rear wheel bearings

Post by Tug »

Hi all,

Approx 18 months ago I changed inner and outer bearings on the rear hubs.....However I carried out a pre MOT inspection today and their appears to be a very very slight play in the O/S.....Has anybody any ideas if I can adjust the play out or will it pass with the slight play....It is very slight and only seems to do it in one place.....sat standing in same position too long ??

Glenn.
Life is not a rehearsal...Live life to the max....Buy a Aircooled VW and get covered in Rust and Oil.......But we all love it really....!!

no adjustment on the rears.

it can only fail for EXCESSIVE PLAY OR ROUGHNESS,
before excessive there is , no play, play , slight play , lots of play THEN you get to excessive!
