She made it home!!

Post by mattk918 »

Well the "new" old bus made it home with only a couple of minor hiccups.

the tailpipe fell off the exhaust box somewhere during the journey (not really a problem, now a side exit exhaust until I get the welder out!!) and I gained the flashing red light of doom for the coolant from cold until up to temp. Levels seem ok and I have just been looking at the wiki so hopefully just a dodgy connection.....

Drove really well so...... :ok

I was just behind you coming into the village tonight, looks like a nice bus. Glad you had a reasonably uneventful (in a good way!) journey back.

Cheers, decided to drive it to work in MK today to give it another test run!
Flashing coolant light sorted by "wiggling" the wires behind the temp gauge. Can't suss why a loose wire goes away when the engine is warm, but these things come to test you!!
