hi there my mot is due in a while and i have got a couple of chips in my windscreen.
would anyone have a clue as to how much a new one will cost fitted?as there is one on flebay right now.it would be nice to know how much they cost brand new before i bid

do you not have windscreen cover on your insurance ?

All fully comp insurance companies cover you for damage to windscreens, usually you have to pay a £50-£70 excess. I once asked auto glass to quote for a windscreen for a transit (tpft)...over£250 then got a local guy £98 so shop around.
If its just a chip they can usually fix it at NO cost if you're fully comp...

I bought a new screen for my van from a local windscreen place. It was only sixty odd quid.

Hi there thanks for you replys i managed to get a second hand windscreen for £18.50 on fleabay.And a local fitter is charging me £50 to fit it.
which is a small amount as autoglaze wanted £280+vat.I think i done quite well.
