Thermostat housing leak (1987 1.9 petrol DG)

Hi Folks
I've just found a small coolant leak from the thermostat housing.
It looks like the mounting bolts or washers have rusted and the resulting expansion cracked the housing.

Now I've cleaned the muck off I can see the part number:
025-121-115 A Thermostat Housing, 2WD 1986 to 1991 (Justkampers J11160 OEM - no stock)

From other posts it seems as though these parts are hard to get. JustKampers & GSF don't have them.
Can anyone confirm this?

What's the best way to deal with it?

• Leave and just keep topping up the coolant.
  Search ebay, breakers, Germany or USA for the right part.
  Take it off and try to mend it. (Epoxy/Super Glue/Gasket gunge)
  

Any idea what bolts I need?
I assume Stainless is bad choice since the engine block is Aluminium.
Is it best to use galvanised with a load of grease?
I found this reference to bolts - but I think these are for the water pump:

• N 014 709 1 M8x22 (hex head) 2 off
  N 090 709 1 M8x25Z3 (hex head(combi)) 2 off (pipe to thermostat)

Kev, That is the part number on the old one currently fitted to CaptainTuba's machine.
There is a slight difference but can't remember what, one small pipe fitting not drilled perhaps?

Is the difference between the 115A and 115 the take-off for the oil cooler on the 2.1 (no cooler on the 1.9 is that right?) if so may be an unused small outlet that will need to be blanked with a bit of hose, a plug and a couple of clips, or sommat. Not sure, but someone will know.

I can see that the thermostat housings are different:
025 121 115 has an extra pipe
025 121 115 A does not have an extra pipe.

So I if I cannot repair it or find the right part I could use a 115 and blank the extra pipe.
