I wonder if you could help me locate some items for my van - i need to get it MOT'd asap but it needs a few bits before I can get it going again. I have tried just kampers but they couldnt help - hopefully someone out there can (so i dont get ripped off)

Ok im after :

carb base gasket / inlet manifold rubbers / manifold to head gasket

Year of manufacture 1981
Engine size 2l
right hand drive
transmission type: manual
Fuel type: petrol

Hi,

Have you tried GSF or VW Heritage.

If you are really stuck you might need to try a breakers...

JK's full gesket set has the carb gaskets in IIRC
1981 Vanagon Westy Burning oil as fuel...

The carb rebuild kit definitely has the gasket but it's a bit pricey to buy it just for that!
