Paint Codes

Hi - The previous owner of my van took it to a paint shop for a custom 2-tone spray, but both have lost the details of the paint codes used. The paint shop say they'd have used genuine vw paints appropriate for the model (caravelle) and year (1983). I've had a look at "paint codes" in the wiki, but both links are dead. There seem to be a lot of people with very different ideas about what colours VW painted caravelles. The only page with colours remotely like mine seems to be:

But these colours and codes don't correlate with anything else I can find on the internet.
Does anyone have a link, or know anybody, that might be helpful?

Wow, what a nightmare! Really helpful links. I think I've narrowed it down to 2 possible colours!! I'll just order 1 of each! Thanks

just remember new paint will not match your old paint.do you have an auto paints place near you.they can mix you the nearest match to yours..
