what pipes?

Post by jonnyels »

hi there is there any body that would know the name and possibly the part number of the pipes x2 that connect to the air filter box and i presume the heat exchangers they are made of what seems to be card board and then covered in foil and then a black rubber.when i took the air filter box off to renew my spark plugs they just crumbled so they deffinatly have to be sorted.

my van is an 84 1.9dg
cheers

If its the ones I think they are you will find that some of us have removed them along with the exhaust shroud that feeds hot air to the airbox (which eventually rusts and rattles). Someone will know where to get them from but your van will be OK in the meantime - mine is fine without them and I use it daily throughout the winter.
