Scooby syncro
Big thanks to Richard (RJES). The subaru powered battle wagen is up and running (thanks to clive, jenny and scoobyvan for supplying emergency parts). Lots of tidying, and modifying left to do, but its back on the road and absolutely flies! I had never even been in a converted van before and they are as good as everyone has indicated. If you are considering this conversion- do it now. Far far better than the golf gti engine that was in there. Loads of torque means a much less frantic drive. Top speed so far - 90mph and still pulling. The quality of the parts purchased from richard are absolutely spot on, and I would highly recomend the throttle cable and support bar.

Pete,
Well impressed you've got this done so quick. Are you planning to run this on LPG ? (Is it in your Doka ?) What bars/sump/loom etc are you using ? Do tell us as this has to be serious option (finances permitting) for anyone running an ageing wasserboxer.
Cheers,
Andy
