am getting vibrations through the gear stick and seat they are not huge but noticabe in 2nd and forth gears even when at a standstill cold it be jst engine or gearbox mount related as recently changed the engine and had the gearbox out or coould it be something more onimous :run sorry for the speling mistakes but just come off a night shift

through the stick can be input bearing failure, mainshaft is moving and can be pushed against the selector shaft would do it all gears and idling, linkage could account for variations in feel. What's g and reverse like.
Vibes can well be mounts too, nearside engine mount particularly but both seem to have a finite life, gearbox mounts seem pretty longlived if correctly assembled and all there, again the linkage could be amplifying, seat vibe/chassis vibe says more engine than box perhaps ?
