First Trip!! 16/10 amp? Eberspacher consumption?

Post by T25Wannabe »

Hi,

Probably being a complete thickie but if you dont ask..

Looking at going away for our first trip in the Westie soon, thought we would head off to this place...

http://www.searles.co.uk/touringandtenting.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Just because we love going to this part of the UK and thought if we had any issues it would be best to go somewhere big...

Anyways I notice they have 10 or 16 amp options on the hookup?? I have this lead:

http://www.justkampers.com/shop/type_2_ ... d-25m.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I am hoping thats all I need, and the amps thing is just a personal preference based on how much power any devices I plug in will need before they trip out the fuse on the hookup point???

Also I will doing a fair few miles to get there so am wondering also how much the eberspacher uses.. (As in dont want to set it running overnight to wake up to no diesel....)...

Can anyone tell I dont want to get there and look like a spanner... :)

Hi

Your lead will be fine

As for the Eber it depend on which model you have but a D2 Airtronic 2.2kw only uses 0.28L/H on full power, which drops to 0.1L/H on lower power so don't worry about running out.

Have a good trip :ok

if you are staying on a site with hook up you need a small fan heater, you won't need the ebber on then, you'll save the diesel!
