Leak from water jets.......i think...

Post by Jutstar »

Just going over a couple of things on my camper and i noticed the washer jets weren t working, thought it would be a easy fix......just add water.

I started adding the water and noticed water was coming out, from the washer bottle area, thinking the water bottle may of had a crack in it i took it off and it appeared fine with all cables connected to it, whilst it was out i refilled it and tried squirting again, i could hear it all working but then noticed water was leaking by my gear stick.................so i reckon one of the washer jet pipes may of come off but it looks like a nighmare to try and trace.

Any help please would be as ever gratefully received.

.

It is.
Take off the jet and try and fish the pipe up to the hole.

Might be an idea to read through this thread

Some good advice on removing the jets (from 'phade') at the end of page 1

So it wasn't leaking until the washer bottle was topped up? tis the seal betwix filler neck and bottle body. Mine leaked when I first got it, used a suitable mastic sealer etc.
