Anti Roll Bar and speedo question?

Do all campers have an anti roll bar because mine hasnt got any linkages to the hub Via a rod or any sign of one ever beig fittedon the front of the van??

what type/length of speedo cable does an 81 westy LHD take as mine has never had one thought it was bout time it did??

cheers ian but mine hasnt got the anti roll bar or the cranked/straight link fitted should it have????

if it does what tyoe of link will i require or how do i find out thatnks again

1981 = Early = cranked link, early suspension assembly which definately should have an a/r bar (although I don't know what diameter that may be 'cos there's 3 different ones apparently)

I'm sure Aidan or some other techno-genius will know the answer though. :wink:

VW genius i can only aspire :mrgreen:

land rovers old bedfords leyland DAF's there my bag. Challenger two, Cheftain, 432's all easy a piece of cake.

That Damn green camper is breaking my balls and bank balance


but anyways cheers for that Ian much appriciated now to find out what size bar it does explain why it handles like a boat though

Early buses had a habbit of breaking the antiroll bar drop links so I'm guessing some nice person just decided to remove the whole thing and save on the expense of replacement.
One this is for sure...it will handle better once replaced.
