diesel brake pump

hi,dropped the engine over the weekend and started to swap bits onto the 1y i bought and i noticed that the plastic bit that the vaccum pipe connects to that comes out of the vaccum pump on the engine on the 1y was broke
i thought,not a problem ill put the whole pump off the 1.6 on, dont bliddy fit tho does it
so i was wondering if there was a fix for this,does it unscrew from the top of the plate ? if its machined on i dont wanna try and break it..any ideas anyone?

No idea but I hope you are taking photos of the swap?

buy a new pump top and seal from VW [the plastic bit isnt replaceable!!].

i took loads of photo's of the original piping and wiring and also marked up the wires coz ive got a memory like a goldfish
