dead lock system

Post by marble »

Im thinking of rigging up a dead bolt security system in my camper as ive heard they can be insecure when abroad. Ive seen a remote central locking system (ebay 360121990582) and thought about rigging the central locking solenoids to operate some form of dead bolts any ideas, sugestions it seems quite strait forward. :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Should work OK. FWIW Maplin do a central locking kit for about £20.

Just be sure though that you have some covert way of powering it up from outside the vehicle in the unlikely but posible event that the battery goes dead.

Good point mr Smith there would have to be a manual latch probably on the rear door. but I think I would have to wire off both batteries somehow. The feedback is usefull thanks
