Hi
Have just bought some range rover electric seats for the van, they came without switches, and as RR seat switches cost more than the seats, I have bought the following ones-
ROCKER SWITCHES, DOUBLE POLE 2 WAY
(ON) / OFF / (ON) NON LATCHING TYPE
IT DOES NOT LOCK ON IT SPRINGS BACK TO CENTRE OFF POSITION
16A 125VAC , 10A 250VAC , SPADE PUSH ON TERMINALS
Can any of you electric whizzes guide me in wiring them up, each seat has 4 motors (one for each `action'), 2 wires for each motor, so I need to reverse the polarity to operate motors in each direction. Does that sound clear?? hope so.
Cheers
Munnyella

There will be 6 contacts on the back of each switch.
1 2
3 4
5 6
Connect 1 and 6 to a positive supply through a fuse.
Connect 2 and 5 to a negetive supply.
Connect the seat motor to 3 and 4.
Pushing the switch one way will activate the motor in one direction, Pushing the switch the other way reverses the motor.

would this do it??
If so, i'm not as thick as I would have me believe!!
Obviously, I shall be using the odd fuse here and there!
