Am in the process of buying some new alloys, the weight rating for each is 715kg. I have a panel van with home brew interior rock n roll bed etc, im not sure of my total weight.
Does anyone know the weight of a standard panel van 1.7 diesel. Also do you think the 715 kg per wheel would be sufficient.
715kg sounds good to me as it's a panel.
There are public weighbridges if you want to know your weight.. cost is usually a pint for a weigh up.
Had mine weighed all loaded up for a weeks camping and it was just shy of two tonnes.. I didn't have to weigh the boat, just tow it.
mines a high top Autosleeper BTW
Well from even basic maths that works out as being able to hold approx 2.8 tonne! 1.4 tonne on each axle be hard pushed to get that much wieght in and still pull away!
