Can anyone tell/show me what is missing (apart from pan supports) from over the top of this set-up please??
It looks as though there was something screwed to to top behind it :(

my bets a lid of some kind.my smev cooker has a glass one...

Yepp ..some kind of cover.

Not entierely necessary ...unless it also doubles up as a heat shield for the plastic window behind. But that depends on how close the window is

she has a glass sliding window so no need for heat shield

im sure reimos didnt coem with any lid oir glass lid too old for that lol

my sisters has a ghay wooden lid that covers the hob seems rather primative but works

Hi

A picture taken when we first got the van home and sorry I can't find the "after" with the cleaned hob, polished up trivet and burners polished up

It's only a 2 burner hob but you can see the idea that the white glass lid lifts up and a couple of springs in the hinges try to hold it that position to act as a splash back when cooking
