Autosleepers and optional extras

Could anyone tell me what optional extras were available for 'sleepers.?
both pop tops and hightops
Anything that wasn't bolted to the standard camper really.

Finaly did autosleeper ever fit a battery charging system similar to a "zig" unit?

I am actually looking at the original Autosleeper Manual from our van.

Our Trident has what appears to be factory fitted Zig Unit and Leisure Battery setup and the original manual is in the file too.
Both work a treat
It would appear that the main difference is that Trident was hard top and Trooper was Pop Top.

How cheeeeeeezy the manuals look though.

Auto-sleepers supplied an instruction manual with tridents detailing the internal spec including names/colours of all interior materials, wiring diagram etc. I think the last version was Sept 89 (supplied with a March 91van) and that has ZIG DCU/3 Charger and MC2000 Control Panel. The standard options were the same as the previous VHT plus a waste tank option but I do know that the factory would do special orders and modifications occasionally.

The Zig and Panel are specified on wiring diagram Sept 89 headed Basic Wiring diagram with Second Battery Options - the second battery and charger together came as one option.

I do have double glazed fully opening hightop windows (as opposed to sliding) but they were not suppled by auto-sleepers. Never seen flyscreens for these but have pucker flyscreen material if you are keen enough to want to make some.

Mines an '86 so I was wondering if it was an option back then.

is this ZIG DCU/3 Charger still available or has it been replaced?
and if those of you have one could you tell me it's location in the van?

Mine is an 86 A/S hi-top and has a Zig CF9 fitted. This unit has a built in charger. It also has a Hotbox heater fitted.

Hot Box is the early marine version of the Propex X1 according to Richard Kitchener at Propex Heatsource. I've got that model in my 1984 VT20.
