Slding door hinge

Post by Mariner Man »

When opening with the handle, the rear of the door no longer springs out, it has to be pulled. Question is can the hinge be fixed or is it goosed. This will be a second replacement, all be it second hand.
Thanks

Seeing as the sliding door hinge mechanism uses a very large spring to help release the door once the catch has been popped would suggest this part is at fault, provided everything else is working normally.......
