Best place to get a re-con dg?

Post by Chrissyt »

Just looking around and sussing out ideas.

But who is best to rebuild me a fully reconditioned dg or 2.1? I've seen a 1.9 recon for £1100 ish cant remember which site it was on though? I wouldn't mind getting a bit more power than standard though, so who is there that specialises in these engines and good recon ones at that with a warranty?

remtec engine in mine. it has run great for 10k no oil leaks and smooth as you like.decent warranty as well. however make sure you read all your warrantee info and sign it. there is a lot of small print(well its all the same size really) you need to 100percent sure the rest of your ancilaries are working correctly.ie if its not timed correctly this will void your warranty, in my case the carb was shot, only found this out by fitting a racetec meter to van. contact paul johnson 01760720088, he is a decent chap and will point you in the right direction, not to far from you if you are near cambridge.
