BIG ERROR.. Help Ticking noise from the enguine

Post by vdubstar »

I am a 1981 t25 Aircooled 2 litre CU enguine, on lpg and petrol, it was fine when i started a few days ago however today as soon as i turned her over there was this really load ticking noise, it sounded like them things we used to have on the front of our bikes to make sound like motorbikes as kids!

I kept her running for about 5 mins tryed her on petrol ran for bit longer but to scared as it didn't stop any advice clues or warnings?

I've got a guy coming to see it 2moro to get it ready for the mot so i could hint to him if i had a idea! to try and fix it.

ticking noise

When this happens it can be really alarming, seems no reason to when they do it, as said before, check the oil and take the bus out for a trundle around and the noise should go
