1988 T25 - Clutch Problems

Post by ktm200hove »

Got in the van this morning, turned her on, pressed the clutch and no pressure what so ever!!!! The clutch has been been a bit weird over the last few months but it gave no warning of letting go completely.

Any ideas what's wrong? Will a bleed help?

When I had something like that on a previous van is was the slave cylinder (the one on the gearbox!) that had worn - the seals were OK just the piston+barrel were worn. £30 ish sorted me for a whole new cylinder
It is by will alone that I set my 'van' in motion!

WHS^
couple of months ago jumped in mine ,after parking it up the night before, pedal to floor - no pressure. looked at the slave cylinder and it was soaking.
took me less than an hour including tea and fags (borrowed a mates pressure bleeder aswell to do it). quite a straight forward job
