Hi I've got an '84 1.9 WBX.
I was replacing the reversing light switch in the gearbox and accidentally shorted the live feed, it's now dead, none of the fuses in the glovebox are dead, is there another fuse box location?
thanks
Chad

snot the fuse then!!!!
the switching is neg - perm live to the lights, with the "earth going through the switch, so if you "shorted " the two wires, check the neg wire into the switch, AND the switch, after you have confirmed you have +12vdc going to the light cluster

Fixed it!
I found a fuse holder in the engine bay. there's a black plastic case toward the front of the vehicle (back of engine bay) on the nearside.
There was a black twist type fuse holder witha blown fuse in it.
Reversing lights are working.
Thanks everyone for helping.
