discs

Post by Jon Bisson GSY »

Hi,
I am having some fun getting the right discs and front wheel bearings for my t25 as its a cross over year. The chassis number is WV2ZZZ25ZFH109582
its has a the larger diameter anti roll bar and straight drop link. It also has the twin pot calipers.
From what I have been told the difference with the disc is the outer wheel bearing.
Does anyone have any ideas on this.
Thanks,
Jon

What year is it?

The difference is based on the year i think - yours sound like an early setup - but not im no expert...

She's a July 85 and I have been speaking to Simon, but it appears that she was built right at the time things were changing and has got a bit of a mix and match on.
I got the discs and bearings from VWH and having spoken to them today it appears that there is some confusion even at VW with when the bearings changed and the discs. It also sounds like the difference is to do with the ID of the bearings. We have decided that as the discs they have supplied are the same as are fitted now, the bearings should fit, fingers crossed.
