Staples

Post by Pepperami »

What sort of food do you keep in your bus? We tend to go shopping in France and keep an emergency supply in the cupboard. The only thing i think about though is the weight and tins flying around.

Staples should be used on paper

I carry a couple of tins of Lidl's Chiili con carne, a couple of packs of dry savoury noodles and in France loads of CHEDDAR cheese cos cheese on toast with brie is POOOOOO, my other staple is Guinness, I know its not as good as draught, but after 2 weeks of wife beater (stella) its good to have some real taste
If you can't weld it try bostic!!

Tins of curry, beans & saus, chilli, chicken casserole, mackerel fillets and cup/pot noodles. Packs or boil in't bag rice, pasta etc Storage jars of tea, coffee, sugar and coffeemate, water & gas.

Shop in E Leclerc or Champion and stock up first chance you get when arriving dans la belle France ... ready made tinned pasta meals etc there are superb.

feck me is that all you keep in there?

mine cupboard is full all the time, tinned and dried stuff, so all i have to pick up is fresh and chilled stuff- refered to as fridge food.

the fuller the cupboard the less it moves about under driving conditions..... and the weight isnt either here nor there... mind you i dont have all that fools gold slopping around under the front seats...........or a heavey pop top.....
