I have a timber techs dont know how high it is,very good roof and one of the better styled ones imo ,it suits the lines of a T25 very well.
You could always drive it up there and stop or get the train back ,they dont call dave Super Dave for nothing you know.

I thought the Kameo hightop was exactly the same as the Komet hightop except that it had cupboards fitted in it instead of a slide out double bed. Which, if true, would mean you wouldn't have to replace the skin but rip out the cupboards and fit a sliding bed. I'm sure Timber Techs will know anyway - and be able to do said bed, but if it's too far away I don't mind taking a few photos of mine and measuring a few dimensions for you.........

Thanks all.
Any pics especially inside for the bed would be good.
1664 - The Kameo has a cut out section at the rear - outside for storage why?!
How long did your installs take then. I admit, they do come highly recommended and look the best replacements. I was thinking of selling this one and going for a T4 deisel but I love the van too much, so... more mods of the roof due to it's started leaking, possibly complete new interior etc etc!

Windy - who did the trimming, is it worth having the portholes to see out of?

The roof was trimmed when I got the van but looks pretty simple to do.
Mine has battens stuck onto the fibreglass and then hardboard covered with lining material which is then screwed to the battens.
I got my van from Roadmark69 of the Brickyard (probably Mark who trimmed mine) who now supplies the correct glue and lining materials and is a whizz on all types of linings should you need any advice

The portholes are OK but you need something to keep the light out when anyone is sleeping up there. Plenty of people have this type of roof but I've not seen another one with the portholes
