eberspacher B1L

my german 1989 2.1 multivan came with a factory fitted eberspacher - the unit is under the R+R bed with the controls set into the dash

ive been playing with it today, and it comes on, blows cold for about 2 minutes, then turns off

so - i'm assuming theres :
A) no fuel coming in
B) not spark (or whatever to ignite the fuel)

being factory fitted, would it have a take-off from the main petrol tank, or will there be a separate tank somewhere supplying just the eber ?

ive had a look at the operating instructions available here http://www.eberspacher.com/support-and- ... ments.html but the operating instructions seem to differ from what i have - it mentions a green light for the pilot light etc - mine has a clock, a series of upward point arrows (like this ^) a wavy line, and < > arrows and thats it

ive done a search on here but cant really find what i'm looking for

When u switch it on you should here the fuel pump ticking! It could be the glow plug burnt out or a coked up flame detector also ensure you have above 11volt power supply!
