best "standard" engine ?

Post by dubscum »

word, i don't know loads about t25 over then i want one. I will have to run a stardard engine for a year or so while i save to replace it (i will swap it for a subaru 2.2) so i need to know what would be best as i'm looking to buy a new van. diesel or petrol, i've seen a 2.1 petrol and it said it was a standard engine, is this correct ? would this perform well ?

the 2.1 injection is a standard engine fitted to caravelles 112 BHP straight fit to most VW petrol gearboxes.

and yes it performs well

Ther are two types of 2.1 engines An MV code And DJ code,

The DJ coded engine is the more powerfull engine and less problematic!

Despite engine power it still ramains down to wot gear ratio your gear box is!
