Handbrake cable sleeves

Post by daveblinkhorn »

My lovely VW Multivan 1.6 TD has only one rear brake working when using the handbrake due to a break in the handbrake cable sleeve on one side, so the sleeve just compresses.

Does anyone know where I can get these sleeves, if thats what they're called?

Both my manuals were recently stolen from the van so I'm in the dark, and living in Spain. 8)

The outer sleeve and inner cable comes as one when you renew it - I think they are about a tenner and are not handed.

Thanks, I assumed handbrake cable didn't include the sleeve.
