Just thought id post some pictures of my new van.
Its a '87 2.1 petrol
4 birth moonraker style with solid sided elevating roof
excellent headroom and storage, i'm 6'4 and still have a good 6'' headroom when standing up.
Its only the misses, our 6 month baby and myself so the upper bed only gets used for storage which is fab. although i recon we could sleep up there as there is still 3 cross members which should easily take our weight, wouldnt trust it if it were just wooden pannels spanning side to side.
Syncro model so lots of extra things to go wrong and cost big bucks.
Wife likes the original cuddly look at present so not much planned in the way of alterations, so essentials to take care of first then maybe some better tyres and swap the spare wheel holder for something more meaningfull.
would love to hear from other owners with this roof, you dont see many around although i've just seen one in the for sale section.
