That'll be Syncro 16 ones or LT mirrors and arms (16 ones sit straight, LT arms need modding to sit straight up)

LT mirrors seem to go for around £100+ a pair. Turn up on eBay from time to time. There were a a few with dealers at Vanfest as well.
What's so bad about the standard mirrors? Thought about changing mine but didn't cos expensive (and I've got more pressing items to fix first), don't fold back (do they??), and didn't think that I'd be able to tilt them down to see kerb when manouvring.
Main problem I've had with standard mirrors is they move, but easily sorted by tightening up the spring tensioner.
LT / 16" syncro mirrors do look cool though

clarification required here. the main reason i want to change them is the wife; i'll explain , where i park on the drive i have to fold the mirrors in so the little darlings going to school opposite dont bump their heads . then when me and the wife get in we adjust the mirrors and off we go if only it were that easy!!! up a bit. down a bit .in a bit. out a bit .20 minutes later we are off.so to save some time i hope that by eliminating the up down bit (she'll only have to do out or in!!!!)also i used to drive an iveco 60/10 with larger mirrors and found it easier to see things especially when reversing or overtaking not necessarily at the same time!!! so i'll bite the bullet and get some, Thanks for all the advice.

Then really I would say you want a pair of BIG MIRRORS...electric (although you don't have to wire them up) because these have detents built in to the base's...which means you can push them against the window for security then pull them out to the 'detent position' without any fuss, they stay set .
These are very desirable and a good pair will cost in the region of £180.

The Syncro 16 and LT ones detent too... but the top arm mounts have to be drilled into the door frame accurately so that the detent cambox isn't under stress, else the cam won't sit fully in it's detent position, that's when they can tend to blow back at around 70 (60 in a heavy head or cross-wind)...
Draggier than those electric ones of course, but nice and BIG.

Fair enough....so either would do the job...
I must admit to liking the look of big leckies compared to the LT style....still either are going to set tezza back near £200 squids.
