Trouble starting

Hi there i have a 1.9 dg and am having trouble starting when its warmed up.It starts on the button when cold but once warmed up it take about 6 turns to start can anyone help many thanks

check the timing and also check that the auto-choke is coming off

Actually now you say it someone did say to me that its ideling to fast as if the chokes on.How can i check cheers glenn

lift the lid , and look at the carb , just under the throttle body is the choke , try pushing it off see if the revs drop , if they do then you'll know its that , good spraying of wd40 or the like , and if that doesnt work then you'll have to look at the pull down unit , but try this first

BTW watch your hands when the engine is running :D
