temp light problem

temp light problem

HELP PLEASE had a problem with a light flashing in my temp gauge on
my 2.1 1990 caravelle, plenty of water in it, engine was not overheating,
could not find anything wrong can anyone tell me what is likely to cause this and where this light is linked to

Think you need to check the fluid level sensor and/or its connections as a starter if the light is blinking all the time.

take the bulb out... :D ....problem sorted.....next !!!!

yeah mine does the same it is not the sensor has bypassed it, I am sure it is some sort of earthing problem I have even changed the circuit board out. the weird thing is that if I switch the engine off then on again it resolves it for that journy.
